KTM 790 und 890 Adventure –Spoilt for choice
KTM offers two attractive models for entry into the Adventure middle range. In addition to the current 890, the popular 790 Adventure is also available again.
The extensively reworked 790 is available from 10,999 Euros. The proven twin has 95 hp, 87 Newton metres of torque and is homologated according to the latest emissions standard. The suspension travel is 200 millimetres at the front and rear, the seat height is 860/840 millimetres.
If you want the entry-level version of the 890 Adventure, you have to pay 14,449 euros. In return, you get an impressive 105 hp and a whopping 100 Newton metres. In terms of suspension travel and seat height, the basic version is no different from the 790. Of course, there is an extensive range of Touratech accessories for both models.
Preview Active Adventure – I want to get out!
In mid-September, the time has come again: the Active Adventure 2023 will take place. For two days, adventure riders will have the opportunity to explore a selection of 12 to 14 off-road locations around the Touratech headquarters in Niedereschach, which are only accessible on this weekend. Fast gravel tracks, rooted forest paths, steep ascents and smooth trails – that's how different the routes are that are exclusively available to the participants.
The Touratech Active Adventure 2023 starts on Thursday, 14 September 2023 at 2.00 pm with the distribution of rider documents; Friday, 15 September and Saturday, 16 September are riding days; the event ends on Saturday, 16 September at 8.00 pm. Riders of adventure bikes with more than 600 cubic centimetres of engine capacity can take part.

Alpes Aventure Motofestival –Small & Fine
Although its popularity has grown steadily in recent years, the Alpes Aventure Motofestival is still an insider's tip for motorbike travellers. Held in the dignified atmosphere of a park in the middle of the Alpine town of Barcelonnette, this meeting has an incomparable charm.
From 8 to 10 September 2023, riders will come here to talk and make new friends. Numerous brands, including Touratech, will be represented with information stands. And then there are the fantastic routes on which spectacular passes can be climbed around the festival.

The new Garmin zumo XT2 – Navigator
As the successor to the popular zumo XT, the zumo XT2 impresses with a 6-inch touchscreen that is even easier to read thanks to 15 percent more diagonal and five percent more brightness. Numerous motorcycle-specific features make route planning easier. Popular motorbike routes are pre-installed, as are Michelin Green Guide, Trendy Places and Local Spots. Routes can be designed to be winding, relaxed or scenic – with the visual route planner even directly in the map view.
By pairing the Garmin zumo XT2 with a smartphone on which the Tread app is installed, real-time services for traffic, weather or fuel prices are available in addition to telephony and messaging. The use of additional maps and satellite images as well as the synchronisation of tracks and waypoints is also possible.
The zumo XT2 is prepared for the use of Garmin inReach, so that owners of a corresponding subscription can send and receive messages and make emergency calls via satellite even in areas without mobile phone reception.

Touratech has developed a robust handlebar mount for the safe installation of the Garmin zumo XT2. Made of laser-cut and CNC-bent aluminium and stainless-steel parts, the mount offers the best possible protection even during heavy off-road use. An additional lock protects the zumo XT2 from theft. By integrating the Garmin motorbike cradle, the zumo XT2 is also reliably supplied with power via the on-board network in the Touratech handlebar mount.The combination option with mounting adapters or the RAM ball joint system allows individual positioning of the navigation system.

Touratech Suspension Plug & Travel DSA EVO UP – UP-Grade
The electronic shock absorber Touratech Suspension Plug & Travel DSA EVO UP helps all BMW R 1250 GS or R 1200 GS with Dynamic ESA to effectively upgrade the rear shock absorber – and at an affordable price. The ingenious trick is that the original electronic spring preload (EPA) and the spring are still used. Only the electronic damper is replaced by a high-quality component from Touratech Suspension. The patented electronic valve ensures an incomparably precise response to the electronic control, the new Hyper Flow damper piston guarantees consistent performance under all load conditions, and the Low Friction seal ensures sensitive response even under the greatest stress. The damping is pre-set via a conveniently operated rotary knob.
